HOW LONG IS A THERAPY SESSION? Typically, a session is 50 minutes in length for individuals.
DO YOU OFFER LONGER SESSIONS? Sometimes. If I am seeing a couple or members of a family, sessions may range between 50 and 110 minutes (two session units). Please note, however, that fees are prorated according to hourly fee.
WHAT IS YOUR FEE? My fee is $150/hour and is due at the time of service.
WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT? Cash, checks, Credit Card, Venmo, Paypal are preferred.
DO YOU ACCEPT SLIDING SCALE FEES? I do offer limited sliding scale appointments based on income and ability to pay. If you need a reduced fee, please let me know. If I am unable to accommodate your financial situation, I will try my best to assist you in finding appropriate referrals.
DO YOU SEE CLIENTS MORE THAN ONCE A WEEK? Yes. There are times when seeing a client twice, even three times per week, can expedite the work of therapy.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY? All clients are asked to cancel no later than 24 hours prior to their appointment time. A less-than-24-hour cancellation will result in your being charged the full session fee, as a professional time commitment has been set aside especially for you.
DO YOU BILL INSURANCE? Fees are paid directly to the therapist at the time of service unless arrangements have been made with an insurance company, prior to your appointment, for a co-pay. Most typically I provide clients with a super bill which is submitted to the insurance company for reimbursement.
